What a great series this is! It's taught by Joel Sartore who has published photos with National Geographic! It really doesn't get any better than that from a professional standpoint.

The course has a lot of great tips -- even simple ones that immediately start making your photos better. That's well before Mr. Sartore gets into lighting, framing, and other, more intricate details.

It's very hands on and interactive. He doesn't just lecture at you. He makes you feel like you are sitting in his very own living room while he teaches you how to be a great photographer. Oh, wait! You really are in his living room in the first lecture!

I say try this course out. There are many formats that you can use, so whatever you prefer. There are video and audio formats. There is also digital downloads and streaming available.

Get started now and have your friends jealous that you take such good photos!

Fundamentals of Photography
Save 80% off the Fundamentals of Photography and learn all about how to take great pictures.

Taking a good picture is a lot harder than it seems. I should know. Even when I try really, really hard to take a semi-decent one, it just turns out terribly. I try to frame it. I try to take into account lighting. I try and make the participants look their best. Yet, it never turns out the way I want it to.

I took a look at this course. Even after the introductory lesson, I already had a better understanding of photography. The gentleman who teaches the series is paid by National Geographic. That's pretty amazing. What he taught in just the first episode was a good photograph needs an interesting subject. It's not that you need a cheetah in your picture, but even when you are just taking pics of the family dog, you need to make it interesting. Great advice.

The course goes on to teach what equipment you do, and do not, need. It talks about lighting. It talks about framing, basically, it talks about everything you need to know.

The nice thing about this course is it is a college level course without the college level commitment. You can take the class whenever you want. Whatever works with your hectic schedule.

The course is Fundamentals of Photography.

This course is amazing because it is taught by an expert. Joel Sartore has been shooting photos for the National Geographic magazine for many years now. He walks you through how to pick a good shot. How to make it interesting -- even shooting the family dog. He helps you learn about what camera to use. What lighting is good. So many things you can learn about basic photography from one of the best.

He walks you through easy to understand explanations about his topics. I'm horrible at taking photos, and I was understanding everything he was telling me. I found the course to be super interesting and super fun to listen to.
